The CRUA (Revolutionary Committee for Unity and Action) has scheduled its congress for August 28-29 in Brussels, in order to establish a “political and technocratic pole (…) with the aim of proposing to Algerians a governance program”, announced the organization.
Postponed several times in a complex health context, the date of the congress, awaited by many Algerians, was finally confirmed.
The CRUA has already invited Algerian citizens to come forward to participate in this congress organized by the diaspora.
In a context of absolute illegitimacy of the military regime in place, the promising initiative will aim to concretize a democratic transition.
Indeed, the CRUA could eventually lead to a political pole truly representative of the aspirations of the Algerian people and could propose a transitional entity in charge of organizing a genuinely transparent presidential election for the near future.
